About

 Hi, I’m Kashaf Noor.

I’m a robotics and machine learning engineer based in Islamabad, Pakistan. I work on autonomous robots, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and AI safety, including research on human-robot collaboration safety with the University of Calabria (published on IEEE Xplore) and hands-on work with humanoid robots such as the Unitree G1.

What this blog is about

This blog is my engineering notebook. I write about the things I actually build, break, and fix:

  • Robotics: ROS2, SLAM, Nav2, sensor fusion, and simulation (Isaac Sim, MuJoCo)
  • Reinforcement learning for robot control and sim-to-real transfer
  • Computer vision on edge devices
  • AI safety for robots that work around people
  • Practical machine learning: PyTorch, RAG pipelines, and the errors nobody documents

Every tutorial here comes from real work. If a fix is on this blog, it’s because I needed it myself.

Who it’s for

Engineers, students, and researchers who want practical, tested guidance instead of hype.
